‘Yeah, this one will be a good one’, or Tacit knowledge, prophylaxis and the border: Exploring everyday health security decisionmaking

Approaching health security from a practice-theoretical perspective, this article advances our understanding of the everyday and locality in decisionmaking, is guided by following two questions: How it determined when threat likely to be present at point entry? What knowledge informs decisions borders? Markedly little known about though conventional wisdom tells us that are based on stringent processes – importantly anchored epidemiological knowledge. The assumed primacy decisionmaking well illustrated SARS-CoV-2 pandemic: evidence-based responses emerged globally sophisticated epidemiologic investigation. Are always rooted epidemiology?
